Maria Giannopoulou obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB) from the European University Cyprus. She is a member of the Cyprus Bar Association since 2018.

She completed her traineeship as a trainee lawyer at the Law Office of the Republic of Cyprus and dealt with administrative and labor law. After her traineeship, she worked as a lawyer in two respected law firms in Nicosia. Since July 2023, has joined the team of CHRISTOFI, MERAKLIS & CO LLC.

Maria is an active member of the firm’s litigation department, specializing in administrative and labor law, appearing before both Trial and Supreme Court.
